Dr. Majjhoo, MD is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine and Oakland University – Beaumont Hospitals School of Medicine. He is in private practice at Shores Rheumatology, PC. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1998 and completed his Internal Medicine residency training at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, followed by fellowship trainings in both geriatrics and rheumatology at Wayne State University and the Detroit Medical Center in 2005. He has served as a principal investigator in numerous clinical trials and has been an invited guest lecturer at national and international conferences. He has been the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, board member of the Coalition of State Rheumatology Organizations, the president of the Michigan Rheumatism Society and member of GRAPPA (Group for Research and Advancement of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis). He has been very involved in advocacy and policy making for patients with rheumatic diseases. His special interests include treatment of gout, rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis. He is on staff at Ascension St John Hospital in Detroit and Grosse Pointe Beaumont Hospital.
